See below for a taste of what the rest of KPT was up to during February.

- We are preparing a Quinquennial Report for the Grade II Listed Church of All Saints, Woodford Wells.
- We are working on the re-ordering and refurbishing of a delightful 1970s house in Essex. This is an interesting and unusual project for us, as we usually work with old and Listed Buildings. However, the aim remains the same – to provide a comfortable home for the client.
- An application for Planning Permission has been submitted for a new double garage with veranda, and also a garden store within the curtilage of a Grade II Listed cottage in Cambridgeshire.
- Concept drawings are being prepared for alterations to provide more family and utility space for a C.17th Grade II* Vicarage in Essex.

- We are preparing concept design drawings for the conversion of an out building to an annexe for ancillary domestic accommodation for an unlisted house in Essex. The conversion will create an open Living/Diner/Kitchen on the ground floor, with a Bedroom and Bathroom, on the first floor.
- We are preparing survey drawings for the feasibility of re-developing a vacant plot within the Waltham Abbey Conservation Area.
- Concept design drawings continue for the replacement of a staircase, creation of a family bathroom, and some re-arrangement of rooms to a Grade II Listed house, dating from C16th in Cambridgeshire.
- We have prepared sketched views, a plan, and gathered together images for presentation to a Village Hall Committee, allowing the local people to see how a new Village/Sports/Leisure Hall might look.
- We are doubly delighted to announce:
- That our entry of Finchingfield Guildhall has been shortlisted for an RIBA Regional Award in the East Region. Judges will visit the Guildhall in March.
- That our entry of Finchingfield Guildhall has been shortlisted for the RICS East of England 2014 Community Benefit Award; and also for the Building Conservation Award. Judges will visit the Guildhall in March.
- We look forward to welcoming Sarah back in March, to part-time working at the office, after a spell of sick-leave.
- Monica, Richard and Sibyl carried out initial visits to meet prospective clients and see some fine properties in Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. We look forward to featuring these projects in our news very soon.
